Principal Responsibilities:

LAKE DIRECTOR

Looking for an adult to supervise and run of site Lake Program for Camp Deeny Riback in Flanders, NJ from end of June end of August 2019. This person must be lifeguard certified (reimbursement for re-cert if necessary,) and poses or be willing to acquire the NJ Boating Safety Certificate Duties include supervising and mentoring lifeguards and creating program for children that teaches basic skills in canoeing, rowing and sailing. The Lake Director is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all users. General watercraft maintenance is required.Get paid to have fun this summer!

UNIT LEADER

Amazing opportunity to join the Leadership Staff of JCC Metrowest Camp Deeny Riback in Flanders, NJ. Looking for an adult to supervise children and staff in all aspects of a day camp program. This person will be directly responsible for all campers and staff in their unit, and have direct communication with parents. This person should have experience working with children and/or pre-teens and experience supervising off-site trips. Enthusiasm, energy and love of camp is a must!

SONG LEADER/MUSIC SPECIALIST

Looking for a Song Leader for Camp Deeny Riback for the Summer 2019 season. Song Leader/Music Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing daily music activities for campers ages 3-12, and assisting with Friday Shabbat programming. The daily activities should be fun, age appropriate, and related to the weekly theme. The Song Leader/Music Specialist is also responsible for working with the Drama Specialist on the Camp Show and leading songs at large group activities and special events. Enthusiasm, energy and love of camp is a must!

SPORTS SPECIALIST

Responsible to plan, organize and direct age-appropriate sport activities for campers ages 3 1/2 -14, for the purpose of improving and teaching sport skills.

Must be versatile in the ability to instruct different sporting activities.

Sports specialists are hired to teach a specific sport and/or various team sports, as well as outdoor challenge.

Sports include Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Soccer, Gaga, Kings, Street Hockey, Powerball, and Lacrosse.

CERAMICS SPECIALIST

Plan, organize and direct ceramics activities through age-appropriate programming for campers

ages 5-14 years old.

KARATE SPECIALIST

Must have Martial Arts background and experience in youth supervision. Must have genuine interest in working with children.

Must have experience in karate and be able to develop an appreciation for martial arts.

Plan, organize and direct Karate for campers ages 3 1/2-14 years old
Teach basic philosophy of karate and martial arts.

NATURE SPECIALIST

Must love the outdoors and all things in Nature. Must have genuine interest in working with children.

Plan, organize and direct Nature for campers ages 3 1/2-14 years old

Must have knowledge and background in Nature/Environment and in youth supervision.

Must have a genuine interest in working with children in the Nature/Environment field.

Have knowledge of outdoor plants and animals.

Have knowledge of gardening and herb greenhouse planting.

PHOTOGRAPHY SPECIALIST

Has background in photography

Must be familiar with new and updated digital photography techniques.

Must be able to take photos and upload to our system

Must be able to crop and organize photos and upload to CampMinder

WOODWORKING SPECIALIST

Organize and direct all woodworking activities.
