Principal Responsibilities:

Full-time: Schedule varies seasonally 40 hours a week.

Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated, energetic and creative individual who has experience teaching a variety of youth sports and fitness classes. Must be able to work well with children and be knowledgeable in the field of child development, youth fitness, physical literacy and physical education.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications: Must have a college degree in physical education, parks and recreation, child development or equivalency with a minimum of three years work experience teaching PE, youth sports and fitness classes in a professional setting.

The JCC History
The Jewish Community Center was founded originally as the Young Men's and Young Women's Hebrew Association and eventually changed its name to the Jewish Community Center. Between 1910 and 1952, it moved to five different locations in York City. In October of 1989 the JCC moved to our current location on Hollywood Drive.
