Principal Responsibilities:

The Inclusion and Support Specialist manages the Inclusion and Support program for the Early Childhood Program at the Weinstein JCC. He/she is responsible for supporting and integrating students with special needs into an inclusive preschool/childcare classroom setting.

He/she will manage the process for referrals, develop and assist with specific interventions (Behavioral, emotional, and sensory) used to support the children in the program. (Including picture schedules, social stories), develop methods for the staff to embed IESP goals into the natural flow of the child's day, and provide one to one support for students with special needs as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must have experience in Early Childhood Education.

Candidates must have a degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work or a related field.
