Principal Responsibilities:

JCC Chicago is committed to connecting children and families to Israel and Jewish life. To that end, the agency is launching a unique start up project with the goal of revitalizing Jewish culture in the Diaspora and promoting the transmission of Judaism through the acquisition of Hebrew as a second language. The candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work with leading scholars in the field of second language acquisition and be a partner in the development of new educational models.

JCC is now hiring the Master Teacher to take a key role in this journey!

Key areas of responsibility:

LOCATION:
Northbrook, IL

DAYS/HOURS:
Position begins Fall/Winter 2017 with the classroom opening for 2018/19 school year; specific full-time schedule to be determined

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with at least three years of experience;

OR

Have a degree (Bachelor's or higher) outside of the early childhood field and three or more years of work experience in an NAEYC-accredited program;
OR

Have a degree (Bachelor's or higher) outside of early childhood field with three or more years of work experience in a non-accredited program and at least 30 contact hours of relevant training during that past three years.
