Principal Responsibilities:

JCC Association is seeking a social media expert to maximize the potential of JCC Association's digital channels and optimize them effectively to reach target audiences. We need a creative thinker who embraces digital media as their preferred platform, can set a strategic approach and effectively measure those efforts. This role is for someone who enjoys the collaborative process, with a talent for content building, telling stories, and eliciting a passionate response from diverse audiences.


The Digital Media and Marketing Manager is responsible for setting and executing a strategy of content creation, curation and digital outreach and engagement through web and social media marketing tactics. These will include updates of JCC Associations websites, leading our social media channels, supervision of (MailChimp) emails, project management (Guidebook) mobile app, content development for e-publications, and launching and tracking digital ads or solicitation campaigns.

The Digital Media and Marketing Manager will also author two e-newsletters, one to regularly update internal (JCC Association) staff as to our digital content and performance and the second to engage our external (JCC professional field) audience with topics ranging from social media trends and best practices. The manager will be tasked with outreach, engagement and guidance for the JCCs to generate JCC Movement wide content for seasonal, specialty or campaign needs, such as: Giving Tuesday, JCC Camps, JCC Maccabi? or the JCC Movement centennial.

The manager will report to the VP of Marketing and Communications and will work with the Communication Director to create consistent brand messaging and voice and appropriate content for our digital streams.


-Executes website and social media strategy as set with VP of Marketing through quarterly plans and calendars

-Updates and manages WordPress websites for JCC Association and related entities and events, and oversees website support from outside vendor

-Develops and executes social media engagement strategy for JCC Association signature events and develops a larger pool of contributors from JCC professionals

-Tracks content performance, reports website and social media metrics and provides analysis of findings and recommendations

-Consistency of messaging across different outlets; website and social media channels using content calendars

-Curates social media content for JCCs from Jewish world interest, specialty focuses, etc.

-Optimizes paid website visits, SEM, and social media buys

-Trains JCC Association staff to use social media channels effectively

-Manages JCC Association App (guidebook) and related digital materials for JCC Association Signature Events

-Oversees the production and distribution of all external email communications including e-newsletters, solicitations, holiday e-cards, and TypeForms (with support from the entire Marketing team)

-Responds to JCC field questions (via ListServ) on digital marketing and social media topics

-Identifies and develops digital marketing, social media guidelines and resources for JCCs, develops monthly e-newsletter to share these resources

-Outreach and engagement to JCCs to build social media campaigns and content

-Works with FRD on solicitation campaigns

-Redevelops E-Circle digital magazine structure and content with marketing team and consultants

-Supports Graphic designers work as it relates to and digital publications
