Principal Responsibilities:

The Gordon Center for Performing Arts at the JCC of Greater Baltimore is seeking a Program Coordinator. This position will play a key role on the Gordon Center team by providing engagement, operational and administrative support of Gordon Center shows, programs, events, and activities. The Gordon Center is located at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue in Owings Mills, Maryland.

The Gordon Center is Baltimore Countys premier performing arts center, presenting music, dance, film, theater, and family shows by professional international, national, and regionally-renowned artists. The Gordon also offers arts education for children and adults. An integral part of the JCC of Greater Baltimore, the Gordon Center strives to be a welcoming place for all that engages, educates, and entertains.

Responsibilities & Duties

Work Environment

The Program Coordinator will report to the Artistic Director. The Artistic Director is responsible for programming the Gordon season, and reports to the Chief Advancement Officer.The work environment at the Gordon Center and JCC is fast-paced. The above portfolio of duties is a foundation; it will vary throughout the year, and with programming. Demonstrating leadership by, for example, creative problem-solving, finding efficiencies, and suggesting outreach opportunities is welcomed.

This is a part-time position (20 hours/week.) There is some flexibility with regard to time management. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
