Principal Responsibilities:


The Facilities Assistant is responsible for helping to Maintain the Boulder JCC facility, including duties associated with cleaning and maintenance of office and meeting spaces. The Facilities Assistant will also be called upon to help setup and break down for both internal meetings and external community events.


 Coordinate with Facilities Director and Event and Rental Manager to prepare for meetings and events

 Interface with organizations using Boulder JCC space to assure appropriate plans for set-up and clean up are in place

 Supervise caterers and other service staff

 Set up and break down tables and chairs for events, set up beverage service, etc.

 Assure supplies are stocked

 Provide early morning or after hours coordination, as needed

 Assist with general maintenance of JCC facilities including cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED. 1+ years experience in a Facilities related function preferred. Have excellent judgment and decision-making skills, knowledgeable in events management and building maintenance, excellent customer service skills with written and oral communication skills. Ability to use sound judgment and maintain confidentiality. Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail.


 Reports to Facilities Director

 Compensation will be $11.00-$12.00 per hour depending on education and experience  Part Time Position: 20 hours per week
