Principal Responsibilities:

Position Summary

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the CEO, COO and Development Director. The position requires flexibility, responsiveness, great attention to detail and sensitivity to the confidential needs and viewpoints of diverse audiences and partners. This is a full-time (80%), benefits-eligible position, reporting to the CEO.

Essential Functions

Provide clerical and administrative support to the CEO, COO and Development Director on a day-to-day basis.

Schedule, coordinate and assist with the preparation for and follow-up on Board, committee and community meetings.

Attend Board meetings and record meeting minutes.

Manage correspondence with Board members and other VIPs.

Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate parties and take messages when necessary.

Coordinate data collection for JCCA benchmarking, Charities Council Review, Federation and other Grant reporting.

Enter and update content in the donor database.

Assist with special events and projects:Annual Appeal, Annual Meeting, Golf & Games event, J-Event and All-Staff meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized and efficient

Proven attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills

Positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional customer service

Commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards

Expected Hours of Work

Typical work days and times for this position are Monday through Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

3-5 years of experience serving as an executive level administrative professional

Experience working with donor database systems (Raiser's Edge or similar)

Knowledge of Judaism and/or previous experience working with the Jewish community
