Principal Responsibilities:

Job Summary: The Riverdale Y is offering an exciting opportunity for a creative, energetic, highly-organized, and experienced community organizer with excellent relationship-building skills. If you are passionate about strengthening collaborative efforts across the full spectrum of the Riverdale Jewish community, between the Jewish community and the broader Riverdale community, and in engaging Jewish and interfaith families who are not connected to Jewish life, this is the right opportunity for you.

The Director of Community Engagement will play an important part in enhancing the Y's role as community convener and in supporting the development of vibrant, local Jewish programs. This is a full-time position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Job Expectations: This role will be a Sunday to Thursday position with some flexibility depending on the time of year and programming schedule. Hours will include some evenings for meetings and activities.
