Principal Responsibilities:

SUMMARY:

The Merage JCC is looking for a knowledgeable, charismatic, energetic instructor to join our team. The JCC staffs purpose is to make sure our members feel welcomed, motivated, supported, and encouraged in their goals. Instructors must take the initiative to greet, meet, and assist all members. As a group instructor, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the group/class workout for up to 30+ members per class. Instructors are required to coach, motivate, and safely guide members through class workouts so they are able to achieve their goals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job requires high energy and member engagement. The membership is made up of a diverse population with varying needs. Instructors must be able to work with people from all different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perception.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to safely lift/move up to 50 lbs.

The Merage Jewish Community Center of Orange County, California is located centrally in beautiful Irvine, Newport Beach and Newport Coast, California. The Merage JCC is located in a 220,000 sq. ft. full service modern building on the Samueli Jewish Campus.
