Principal Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The Infant Teacher reports to the Infant/Toddler Assistant Director and Supervisor and is responsible for the supervision, care, and management of a class of Infants (6 wks-18 months old) in accordance with the goals and curriculum plan of the Boulder JCC Early Childhood Center (ECC). The principal duties of the Infant Teacher include: conduct focused observations of children, develop action plans, carry out activities on a daily basis, evaluate the effectiveness of those child development activities, ensure the safety and well-being of the children, maintain regular communication with parents, and contribute to the effective operation of the overall the ECC.

The Boulder JCC Early Childhood Center is designed to enhance the social, emotional, linguistic, cognitive, and physical development of each child. The school offers opportunities for exploration and discovery in a constructivist-based, educational environment.
