The Stoler Early Childhood Education Center

The Stoler Early Childhood Education Center has been serving children in the community for over 30 years. Our ECE facility accommodates nearly 300 students ranging from two to five years old (including kindergarten) and welcomes families from all backgrounds.

At the core of our program are caring teachers and specialists.Partnering with parents and families are a key aspect to the schools culture. The curriculum features group activities and one-on-one interactions while also having multiple opportunities for exploratory, child-directed play. Each week, classes celebrate Shabbat and learn about Jewish culture and values. Programs also feature science, math, and literature as well as music, art, nature, cooking, and dance.

The Healthy Choices curriculum, developed at Stoler, has been recognized by Michelle Obama's Lets Move! Child Care Initiative for Exceptional Work in the Prevention of Childhood Obesity. This program teaches children ages 2 to 5 about the importance of eating fruits and vegetables, whole grains and healthy proteins.

In the summer, ECE shifts into Noahs Ark summer camp, an integral part of the JCCs JCamps platform. Serving both year-round and summer only families, our youngest campers enjoy activities designed to encourage discovery, learning and delight.

Based at the Rosenbloom Campus of the JCC in Owings Mills, MD, the school features stimulating outdoor learning environments, such as a Natural Playground with a garden cultivated by teachers and children, and unique outdoor play structures in the Biblical Playground.
