Principal Responsibilities:

WANTED: Flexible, kind, positive, confident educator to join a faculty of passionate, energetic early childhood educators.

Are you enthusiastic about working with children ages 2-5 and early childhood educators? Join our fantastic team as a Substitute or floating Assistant Teacher!

Our Substitutes and floating Assistant Teachers typically work part-time, and hous will be determined based on your availability and our needs. They are helpful in every classroom, sometimes more than one classroom in a day. The school is open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on experience and credentials. Opportunities for advancement and benefits are available.

Your strengths include but are not limited to:
 Kindness and sensitivity to children's development and needs
 Understanding of children's great spectrum of abilities
 Able to adjust your communication style for a child's particular needs
 Believing that behaviors are a method for communication
 Effective communication skills, both spoken and written, towards co-workers, supervisors, and children
 Prior experience working with young children ages 2-5
 Willing to attend professional development experiences with colleagues and contribute to discussions
 Understanding the value in a child's process work in all things including arts, literacy, STEM, emotions, and the infusion between them
 Willing to learn about Jewish holidays and values
 Prior experience with or willing to learn about the Reggio Emilia Approach
