Principal Responsibilities:

The Director of Development will support the Executive Director and the Board of Directors in maintaining a culture of philanthropy by developing relationships that will result in a stable base of financial support for the JCC. The Director of Development is responsible for developing a comprehensive fundraising plan that integrates a myriad of campaigns, events and projects. These plans shall also include implementation and evaluation plans which shall outline specific goals and objectives and outcomes. Will prospect, cultivate, solicit and steward individual donors, foundations and government agencies to help meet the organization's annual fundraising goals.

Principal Responsibilities:

The Director of Development will build the capacity and will be responsible for developing broad strategies and cultivating the stakeholders to garner resources to maintain the operating and facility needs of the JCC.


Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's Degree and at least three (3) years' experience or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates success in developing a donor base for a not for profit organization. The willingness to work with sense of humor and in fluid collaboration within a team is a must, as is the ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
