Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, 75 miles northeast of Atlanta, Camp Barney Medintz is a leader in the Jewish camping industry in North America."Camp Barney" has been owned and operated by the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta since 1963, serving over 1200 children and 400 staff each summer from Atlanta, throughout the U.S. and internationally.Countless children and adults have been positively impacted by CBM and continue to call it their "Summer Place."Camp Barney has been and remains one of the MJCCA's core programs for more than 56 years.

Camp Barney Medintz has created a fantastic new opportunity for a year-round Senior Staff Member to join our Professional Team.We are seeking an Inclusion Coordinatorwho is an experienced camp professional who shares a passion for the mission of Camp Barney as an inclusive community and possesses the energy, talent, creativity, warm, humor and experience to manage and further the development and growth of this experiential program.The ideal candidate fully understands Jewish overnight camping; program development and implementation; pursuing, training and supervising a staff team; working with families and allied agencies; managing systems and budget; and is an inspiring and engaging leader.

As Inclusion Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of this unique program including re-imagining the experience for children and teens with developmental disabilities, integrating this program with the existing overall Camp Barney community, establishing meaningful relationships with families, other relevant organizations, schools and professionals; staffing, training, marketing, recruitment, health and safety.

Additionally, you will oversee staff with developmental disabilities who comprise a valued, appreciated and loved component of our annual Camp Barney staff.Think this is you?We hope so!
