Shalom Austin is located in Northwest Austin on the Dell Jewish Community Campus at 7300 Hart Lane, Austin, TX 78731. Traveling north on Mopac, exit Far West Boulevard. Take a left on Far West and at the Hart Lane light, take a right. The J is located half a block up Hart Lane on the left. Look for the stone sign marking the entrance to the Dell Jewish Community Campus.

Principal Responsibilities:

We are looking for experienced, adventurous, creative, and responsible lead infant toddler educators to join our Early Childhood team. We foster a sensory-rich, hands-on learning environment based on a child-centered philosophy. If you thrive in a community environment, are passionate about discovering WITH your children, love getting on the floor, are willing to think out of the box and use natural materials and provocations to enhance learning, and are willing to share your positive/energetic attitude with our families and entire member base, then this is the job for you!

We are currently looking to fill multiple full-time (Monday - Friday) summer infant and toddler positions with the possibility of converting these to permanent status for the Fall school year. We value high-quality professional development and provide numerous PAID opportunities before each school year including CPR/First Aid training.

Job Type: Full-time

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant experience in a licensed childcare setting is required and education in Early Childhood is preferable (ECE, CDA, etc.). Degrees in related fields are also considered. Hourly pay is competitive and takes in to account experience and education.
