Principal Responsibilities:

JCC Greater Boston seeks an experienced Jewish educator and independent self-starter to lead the JCC Boston Diller Teen Fellowship program an immersive experiential education program for 10th- 11th graders designed to inspire and promote leadership among Jewish youth. This is a full time position reporting directly to the Director, Special Projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have proven success developing personal connections with and mentoring Jewish teens, as well as an understanding of and appreciation for Israeli culture and basic knowledge of Hebrew. This position requires a BA in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Jewish Studies, or related field; MA preferred. Candidates must have experience developing and leading programming addressing Jewish identity development, youth leadership development, community service, and Israel education. Strong facilitation, education, organization, and communication skills required to effectively interact with, lead, and inspire a diverse group of teens, parents, community leaders and staff. Coordinator must effectively collaborate with partner staff and an international peer network of Diller Teen Fellow coordinators. Must have excellent administrative and management skills. The Boston Diller Teen Fellows Program Coordinator position starts on June 30, 2019. Competitive salary and benefits. Must be available to work nights and weekends, including travel to Israel for 3 weeks during the summer and out of state travel during the year. Office located at the JCC offices in Newton, MA.
