Principal Responsibilities:

JCC Chicago's Sports Instructor plans and facilitates creative movement gym class and run the sports enrichment programs for children ages 2-6. The Sports Instructor works with the Sports & Recreation management team to prepare age-appropriate lessons promote classes and keep parents informed.

Responsibilities include supervision of kids in a gym environment with safety as a main goal and working with the supervisor to review class issues, schedules and ensure program needs are being met.

DAYS/HOURS:
Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm/Wednesdays 2:00-4:00pm and Fridays 4:00-5:30pm

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in Recreation, Sports, Kinesiology, Education or related field preferred; CPR, AED and First Aid certification; demonstrated knowledge of sports, game rules and age appropriate coaching methods.

The ideal candidate will have had success-teaching preschool and school aged kids with the ability to relate and communicate positively with parents and community members and have an enthusiastic personality that creates a fun sports environment.
