Diller Teen Fellows Program Associate
JCC of Greater Baltimore
3506 Gwynnbrook Ave
Owings Mills, MD 21117

Principal Responsibilities:

The Diller Teen Fellows program was established in San Francisco in 1997 by the Helen Diller Family Foundation, a supporting foundation of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund. The first cohort of the program began its activity in San Francisco in January 1998. Since then, the program has expanded to include 32 participating communities across the U.S., Canada, South Africa, Australia, South America, Europe and Israel.

The program targets teens in 11th grades and spearheads the development of Jewish youth leadership founded on a unique model of Jewish pluralism, Jewish Peoplehood, and transatlantic partnership. All this with the goal of creating a global network of teens who will fulfill an active and effective leadership role in creating a better world.

4Front Baltimore

The program is sponsored by the Helen Diller Family Foundation, The Associated, and the JCC of Greater Baltimore and housed at 4Front Baltimore. Diller Teen Fellows is hosted at 4Front Baltimore, the Jewish community's comprehensive teen initiative. Based on 4 pillars: advocate, innovate, educate, and collaborate, 4Front serves as a gathering place and open channel for Baltimore's Jewish teens and the adults who care about them. Here, teens are encouraged to explore their Judaism in ways that are meaningful to them. 4Front is collaborative by design and serves as the catalyst for creating new partnerships within and beyond the existing channels for teens, teen professionals, and volunteer leaders in the community. 4Front Baltimore is one of 10 nationwide across the country participating in the Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funders Collaborative in partnership with the Jim Joseph Foundation.
