Principal Responsibilities:

Camp Tawonga is seeking to immediately hire an operations and systems-minded fundraising professional to join our growing and dynamic development team. The Development Associate, in partnership with the Development Manager, shares responsibility for overall departmental goal achievement and is an integral member of the fundraising team. Primary duties include managing our database (Raiser's Edge), evaluating all donor data, coordinating email and direct response efforts, event coordination, and managing a small portfolio of donors. This position will require meticulous attention to detail, good time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

The Department

The Development Associate is part of a development team of four that includes the Development Director, Communications Director and the Development Manager. This department has grown in scope and need over the past five years with the establishment of year-round programming initiatives, an increase in need for camper scholarships, as well the building of a capital campaign. We are a warm and highly collaborative team that celebrates everyone's unique contributions.

Tawonga runs programming for children, families and young adults at our premier residential camp located outside Yosemite National Park as well as in the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a non-exempt, full-time position, including some weekend and evening work. Competitive compensation package including medical, dental, life insurance, retirement, and paid annual vacation.
