Principal Responsibilities:

Are you super organized and have patience to spare? Does the idea of working in a high-energy office where no two days are the same make you do your happy dance? Then, Camp Kef at the Kaiserman JCC is looking for you!

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to keep our camp office humming before and during the camp season.

REPORTS TO: Camp Director and Camp Assistant Director

* Process forms, records, requisitions and sign-up sheets
* Answer telephone during office hours
* Take messages for camp directors
* Prepare letters, lists, forms, schedules etc. as needed
* Maintain/order office and camp supplies
* Operate copy machine and other office machines
* Assist Administrators with all associated office tasks
* Work to keep office clean and orderly
* Coordinate snack distribution
* Maintain and order snacks, as needed
* Check in late campers and early dismissals
* Maintain daily lists for early and late care
* Follow up with families of absent campers daily
* Any other tasks deemed necessary by camp directors

HOURS: Approximately 10 hours/week from May 1-June 10 ; full time, 8am-4pm, from June 11-August 17

Minimum Qualifications:


1. Willingness to work in office atmosphere
2. Passion for and experience dealing with people.
3. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, office equipment
4. Pleasant phone demeanor
