Camp Livingston is a JCC Association camp founded in 1920, situated on 680 beautiful acres with a lake in Bennington, IN, and is at an exciting moment in its history celebrating 100 years in 2019. Camp Livingston is affiliated with the Cincinnati Jewish community, and the other Jewish communities in the region, which are among the most vibrant, progressive and successful Jewish communities in the country. Camp Livingston can accommodate up to 200 campers per session/400 campers per summer. Programing continues to expand, as a result satisfaction scores continue to rise. We are continuously planning and executing capital improvement projects including programing areas and housing.

Principal Responsibilities:

Summary Description:

The Assistant Director/Programing and Development will assist the Executive Director in the overall development/fundraising, management, administrative and programing areas of camp and will play a critical role in summer camp operations, marketing and communications, cultivation and care of off-season retreat business. This person will be the direct supervisor of programing staff as assigned by the Executive Director. This position requires excellent organizational, leadership, supervisory, marketing, and planning abilities.

The position requires living in Cincinnati during the months of September through May and at Camp during the summer. This position also requires availability on some nights and weekends and some travel within the region for recruitment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Summer (June-August) On-site programing - Rental Groups - Program Directors -Donors

Winter (September-May) Fundraising - Rental Groups  Off-site programing
