Principal Responsibilities:

The Shames JCC seeks an outstanding Youth Educator to join the agency's management team and play a central role in its off-site camping program, Camp Twelve Trails, which is run in partnership with a consortium of two other centers.
The Youth Educator will build out the JCC's youth program, both providing and supervising direct service to youth and enhancing the agency's collective understanding of youth education throughout the overall program and facility. The Youth Educator will also take on a senior leadership role within the Camp Twelve Trails administration, serving as the Shames JCC's senior representative to Camp Twelve Trails and guiding the camp's program and vision. While the Youth Educator will work to integrate year round responsibilities, the Youth Educator reports to the JCC's Chief Program Officer during the academic year and the Camp Twelve Trails Director during the summer season.

The Harold and Elaine Shames JCC on the Hudson has served the Jewish community and its environs for almost 90 years. Currently based in Tarrytown, New York, the agency recently opened a brand new facility and is expanding its membership, facility, program and operations.
