Principal Responsibilities:

The Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC) Camp Keff has been providing outstanding summer, fall, winter and spring programs for youth from Age 2 - Grade 12 for decades. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where youth & teens can play and grow. Hundreds of campers attend our programs each year! Our signature summer camp programs are two week sessions that include swimming, arts, Jewish culture, sports, field trips and overnights. In addition, we have one week camps in two formats, Mix and Match and Adventure Camps that are focused on one or two themes a week. Camp Keff is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Camp Counselors are the heart of Camp Keff programs. Under the direction of the Camp Director, counselors work to ensure that each child feels welcome, safe, and loved at camp through their daily interactions with children under their care. Counselors have a special opportunity to make a change in the life of a child while developing valuable professional skills and program planning experience.

Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Tuesday - Friday, December 26, 2017 to January 5, 2018. *NO WORK December 25, 2017 and January 1, 2018. Extended work hours may be required.

Salary: $550/five day week. Any extended hours are paid at a separate hourly rate. Also includes free access to the Byer Athletic Center during the camp season.
