We are looking for fantastic educators to join our team in an energetic, warm, and engaging environment. Job opportunities include full-time and part-time roles with ages 2-5 years: Assistant Teachers, Teachers, Floaters, and Substitutes. Children are grouped by age in the morning and mixed-age in the afternoon.


Your strengths include but are not limited to:

 Able to engage deeply with children in meaningful experiences relevant to each child.
 Understand that listening and interacting authentically is a basis for positive relationships.
 Positive and energetic attitude when learning new things, opportunities that arise throughout the day, and sharing skills and knowledge with co-workers and teams.
 Naturally focused on the process of young children interacting with materials, building life skills, and learning to manage interpersonal relationships.
 Willing to learn about Jewish holidays, values, and rituals.
 Able to interact professionally and kindly with a Faculty of over 40 people, your classroom co-worker, the JCC staff, and the members or visitors of our community through writing and face-to-face experiences.
 Eager to work through classroom management situations and planning with the co-worker in your classroom and investigate topics that align with children's interests.
 Dependable, responsible, and prompt.
 Flexible when faced with agenda or schedule adjustments.
 Regularly seeking personal and professional development.
 Able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
 Able to interact respectfully and joyfully with children ages 2-5.
 Prior experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
 College degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
 Able to use computer and related technology for email communication, newsletters, and other necessary needs that may arise.
