Principal Responsibilities:

The Rosen JCC is offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time Marketing Associate. We are looking for someone to lead the building of our brand in the community through online efforts, fostering an internal culture of willing ambassadors and leveraging the social relationships of the staff, JCC membership and the Board. You will be part of the creative process to roll out into the community our new "Town Square-Better Together" brand.
The Marketing Associate will be responsible for:
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional materials for distribution within the organization and externally to the community (i.e. Membership kits, Town Square offerings, sponsorships, event materials).
  • In coordination with Marketing Manager, ensure the consistency of the brand, standardization of all collateral materials, and eliminating all old materials.
  • Work with the various departments to identify what materials are needed, and in coordination with Marketing Manager, develop timeline and turn around.
  • Prepare and deliver promotional presentations; ability to prioritize time sensitive requests to meet all deadlines.
  • Develop strategies to improve on existing and past marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in all departments to enhance Rosen JCC's brand image.
  • With direction from an outside social media consultant, and in coordination with the Marketing Manager, be the lead JCC staff member overseeing social media for the JCC; Ensure the timely postings on social media, as prescribed by the overall strategy and social media calendar
  • Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of overall fundraising efforts.
  • Provide creative input for direct marketing methods and develop strategies to improve our messaging.
  • Analyze competitors' efforts to ensure that Rosen JCC maintains a visible presence.
  • Understand the challenges facing non-profits and provide creative solutions
  • Be a flexible and self-motivated project owner who encourages a collaborative culture
  • Take the lead in JCC web site maintenance i.e. updating org. calendar, taking down old content, and placing new content.

Agency Information:

The Jack & Lee Rosen JCC opened in 2009 as a branch of the JCC of Greater Orlando, and became an independent agency in 2015. The Rosen JCC is a 50,000+ sq.ft facility including an Early Childhood Learning Center with 17 classrooms, an after-school program called J University with 60+ children, a summer camp with 400 campers, a full fitness center, a group exercise studio, a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, a covered pavilion, two playgrounds and athletic fields.
