Job Description:

The Director of Early Childhood Education is responsible for oversight, through supervision and direct service, of all licensed JCCGV Early Childhood Education programs. Thirty educators work with two hundred and fifteen children, ages 18 months through 12 years in the daycares, preschools and Club J after school care programs, inspired by the research from the preschools in Reggio Emilia, Italy and guided by the British Columbia Early Learning Framework and Sheva, the Jewish Early Learning Framework from the Jewish Community Centre Association of North America. The Director of Early Childhood Education works with an articulated vision to co-construct fiscally sound, quality programs with input from teachers, families, community, government and JCCGV management.
