Principal Responsibilities:

The Early Childhood Center at the Robert E. Loup Jewish Community Center is a Jewish, Reggio-inspired school with 13 classrooms and around 35 staff.

This is a co-teaching position in one of our infant classrooms, Monday  Friday, 8:30  5:30 PM. Our program is designed to help develop the whole child: socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically. We encourage the development of children's inner resources: curiosity, creativity, imagination, independence, a love of learning and self-esteem. We are looking for caring and inspired teachers who are eager to explore and discover alongside children to promote a culture of continuous learning!

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will either possess a degree in early childhood education, elementary education, or child development or currently be enrolled in a degree program. The candidate will have experience in and/or knowledge of emergent curriculum and developmentally appropriate practice. Candidate will have experience working with infants.

First and foremost, candidates will be emotionally responsive in their work with children, and wish to be part of a larger community that enriches children's lives by co-constructing meaningful learning experiences.
