Principal Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for meeting immediate and ongoing needs of campers and their families. Must provide strong visionary, creative and thoughtful leadership to all areas of Camp business and operations. Supervises many components of the recruitment efforts for new campers, and implements a robust plan to ensure a smooth experience for first time campers and their families.

Supervision from the Camp Director

Minimum Qualifications:

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. Frequently he/she is required to sit. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree in education, recreation, hospitality, Jewish studies or social work is required, advanced degree preferred; with at least 5 years of professional experience in camping services.
