Principal Responsibilities:

The JCC is looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and skilled individual to serve as the Club Connect Assistant Program Coordinator. Club Connect is a recreational and social after school program for high school students with disabilities. This is a part-time (one day per week from 2pm-6pm with the possibility of some flexibility), overtime non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Inclusion and Diversity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

 Plan and execute operations of Club Connect
 Supervise staff and participants
 Supervise arrival and dismissal
 Create lesson plans and prepare materials
 Obtain snacks and check for allergies
 Implement activities and programs
 Provide individualized support and accommodations to individuals in the program
 Maintain contact with Director of Inclusion and Diversity and families as needed
 Reinforce all COVID-19 health and safety procedures and policies
 Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:
 High School graduate or higher education required
 Experience working with individuals with disabilities
 Ability to take direction and follow up independently
 Keen understanding of inclusive language and mindset
 Ability to represent the JCC in a positive manner to staff, families and participants

Physical Requirements:
 Sit for an extended period of time
 Lift up to 10 pounds and move freely about the building
 Assist individuals with disabilities during physical program activities
 Follow all COVID-19 precautions as directed

Salary:

$30/hr
