For 2023-24 School Year. Salary Range (based on 184 days, 8 hour/day): $28,500 - $35,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assistant Teachers are responsible for monitoring children's indoor and outdoor activities and responding to children's needs in a positive and courteous manner. More specifically, the person will be expected to supervise and manage a group of children between the ages of 13 months and 5 years old, participate in small group activities, and support other teachers. Maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the classroom while following all school procedures and regulations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move from standing to crouching to sitting on the floor and back to standing. Physical stamina required to bend, stand, lift up to 40 pounds, work with children on the floor, work outdoors in a variety of temperatures, and mobility to ensure the supervision and safety of children. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
