Principal Responsibilities:

The Kaiserman JCC and jkidphilly, a program of Jewish Learning Venture (JLV), are seeking an energetic, creative, and empathetic individual to serve as our Project Coordinator for our new jbabies and jtoddlers program. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in developing an exciting new Jewish program for children (2 and under), building community and engaging with families with young children. This position is a part-time role and will be housed at the Kaiserman JCC with flexible work hours. Some of the work can be done remotely.

The jbabies & jtoddlers program is a new initiative of the Kaiserman JCC and jkidphilly to engage and educate families with infants and toddlers in Jewish ritual and tradition, build relationships and community, and encourage future involvement in Jewish life. The 8-week program consists of 6 My Grownup and Me classes, a Grownup education program, and one Family Shabbat picnic. In our pilot year we will host the program in 2 Greater Philadelphia Area locations, and have a minimum of 3 cohorts of the program in each location.

Hours for this position will be variable with more hours required at the onset of the position and a minimum of 5 hours per week while classes are ongoing.

Salary $45-50/hour, commensurate with experience
