Principal Responsibilities:

Camp Kef is seeking a responsible, safety-focused, and dependable Driver to provide daily transportation for campers to and from camp. This position includes both morning pick-up routes and afternoon drop-off routes, ensuring campers arrive safely, on time, and ready for a positive camp experience.

The ideal candidate is punctual, calm under pressure, enjoys working with children, and prioritizes safety above all else.

We serve campers from infancy through 10th grade and emphasize universal Jewish values including kindness, community, spirit, and respect. Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Morning Responsibilities:

  • Safely pick up campers from designated stops or homes
  • Ensure timely arrival at camp
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle safety checks
  • Maintain accurate attendance and communicate absences to camp administration
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for campers at the start of their day

Afternoon Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport campers from camp to designated drop-off locations or homes
  • Verify camper check-in/check-out procedures
  • Maintain clear communication with camp staff and families as needed
  • Conduct post-trip vehicle checks

General Responsibilities:

  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle including filling gas when low
  • Immediately report any incidents, concerns, or delays to camp administration
  • Model positive behavior and professionalism at all times
  • Attend required staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 21 years old
  • Clean driving record
  • Hold a valid PA state driver's license (standard license is ok)
  • Experience driving or working with children

Hours and Compensation:

  • Working hours: Morning Shift 7am - 9am Afternoon Shift 3pm - 5pm
  • Summer salary starting at $23/hour

Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000
