The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator, welcoming, organized, detail-oriented, conscientious, and engaging. We seek someone dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the JCA's customer service orientation, building health and safety, and to bringing a positive and collaborative approach to our small team environment. This role functions as the welcoming face and ambassador for the organization, providing accurate information, referrals, and assistance to community members and staff.
We are looking for someone with strong administrative, interpersonal and communication skills who is committed to the mission of the JCA and to maintaining an up to date understanding of our programs and services. Flexibility, ability to efficiently juggle multiple projects, and willingness to adapt to changing needs and circumstances required. This role requires good judgment, discretion and sensitivity in dealing with challenging or confidential situations.
High-level proficiency with technology, with particular experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook, is required. The ability to quickly and independently learn new software platforms is required, and experience with a CRM database preferred.
This position reports to the Executive Director, and serves on the organization's Leadership Team. The job is full time, 40 hours per week. The position is non-exempt. The holiday schedule will follow the JCA preschool, and includes several Jewish holidays as well as all 12 federal holidays.
Salary: $45,000-52,000. The JCA offers a competitive benefits package that includes partial contribution toward individual health insurance, employer paid short and long-term disability and life insurance, and generous paid time off including 12 federal and several Jewish holidays.
