Principal Responsibilities:
Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh is seeking an organized and great communicator to join our dynamic team and work with our amazing Women's Philanthropy group to help them design and implement their programmatic calendar. The Program Coordinator, Women's Philanthropy, will support the activities of the Women's Philanthropy division by working with the volunteer leaders of Women's Philanthropy, coordinating programs, assisting with regular communications and reporting, and helping with other Women's Philanthropy related activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Core Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Engagement and the volunteer leadership of Women's Philanthropy to design and implement the Federation's Women's Engagement programs and initiatives throughout the year.
- Work closely with the Development Director and Development Coordinator to implement Women's Philanthropy development and stewardship events such as annual Lion's Appreciation event and other receptions throughout the year.
- Program coordination such as logistics, communications, working with relevant site staff, and ensuring proper communication materials and collateral are created and available on time.
- Coordinate Women's Philanthropy-specific communications, such as monthly updates, social media posts, email newsletters, and program follow up.
- Assist Women's Philanthropy with its regular leadership meetings and other planning groups.
- Participate in Engagement team meetings and trainings.
- Assist with community-wide programming when needed, including working with Women's Philanthropy leadership on including group in events.
Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience.
- Excellent organizational skills including ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent pro-active communication skills. Ability to community effectively and professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with people of all ages.
- Willingness to attend evening and weekend programs and socialize with stakeholders.
- Flexibility of schedule. Some days may require different hours than others.
- Skill with Microsoft Office suite of software including Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with social communication tools such as Facebook, Instagram, and e-newsletter platforms.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
