Principal Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Benefits Case Worker to help families access NYC no cost child care programs ( PreK, 3K, Head Start, etc.). This role involves guiding families through the identification of available slots in programs in NYC, the application and enrollment process through MySchools, managing school accounts, supporting documentation needs and submissions, and ensuring compliance with program regulations. You will also maintain records, prepare reports, and participate in community outreach and department activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist families with child care benefit applications and enrollment processes.
• Create and manage school accounts; provide support with online tools.
• Help families gather required documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and submit reports as needed.
• Participate in community events, outreach, and department meetings.
• any additional work assigned by a supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Master Degree is preferred.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.
• Experience with benefits programs and/or working with families is a plus.
• Strong English and Russian communication required

Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000
