ABOUT EDUCATIONAL ALLIANCE

Educational Alliance (EA) is one of the oldest and most trusted community-based nonprofits in New York City, providing New Yorkers of all ages and backgrounds with a diverse range of services for over 135 years. Headquartered on the Lower East Side, EA serves more than 35,000 people a year through a robust array of programming, including after school services, early childhood education, substance abuse and prevention, and older adult services. Every EA program has a firm commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and community.

At Educational Alliance, we are reinventing how nonprofits pioneer new programs and deliver direct services to diverse communities. We are the social safety net in action for our clients who need critical services, and we are the community center for our members who want a place to gather and take care of the health, education, and well-being of their families.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We make the city a brighter, friendlier and more supportive place. Our community centers offer multi-generational programs that push boundaries and break barriers, sharing critical tools to foster relationships and advance the well-being of people in New York City.

Our pioneering educational programs--like 2Generation Head Start, and courses ranging from art to fitness, career readiness to citizenship--are carefully curated and developed with our city's residents in mind. We offer dozens of options and we never stop innovating to help people of all ages grow, connect, and engage.

Guided by Jewish values, Educational Alliance celebrates the differences and individuality every person brings when they walk through our doors because we know that there is more that connects us than keeps us divided.
