Water Fitness Instructors help participants meet health and fitness objectives through safe, effective, and enjoyable water exercise. You will teach and oversee classes in a swimming pool that promote physical fitness, design exercises for people of all fitness levels, lead cardio classes, and monitor the safety of participants. Your responsibilities include motivating members, communicating safe exercise skills and techniques, and staying current on new exercise techniques. This positions reports to the Aquatics Director. Instructor salary starts at $25/hour.
AEA or ASFA Certification Preferred, training also available
Current or willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
The Gordon Jewish Community Center (Gordon JCC) is at the center of Jewish life in Nashville, providing recreational, educational, social and cultural programs and services to over 1,700 member families. Located on a beautiful 52-acre campus in west Nashville, it is a place where non-Jews are welcome to join, play and learn side by side with their Jewish neighbors. Camp Davis, established in 1930s, provides a day camp experience for hundreds of school-age children each summer.
