Principal Responsibilities:

The JCC is seeking qualified Early Childhood Substitutes to join our team. Candidates must be warm, friendly, reliable, patient, and energetic team players. You will work collaboratively with our JCC teachers to ensure the successful operation of the classroom, while helping to build a better future for the children, their families and our communities. Must have strong communication skills, and love working with children.

The Early Childhood Substitute position is an on-call, per diem position. Pay is based on qualification and ranges from $15.15/hour - $17/hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center
The commitment and passion to work with children and families
Effective communication and written skills
High School Diploma or equivalent, Substitute Certification preferred, Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
An eagerness to adopt our values: Embracing Diversity, Teamwork & Community, Data-Informed Learning, Open Communication, and Follow-Through
