Riverdale Y is a community and cultural center located in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx. We provide educational, recreational, cultural, and wellness programming for children and adults of all ages. The Riverdale Y is rooted in universal values central to Jewish life. Job Title: Floater
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM (September - June)
Location: Riverdale Y

Position Summary:
The Floater provides afternoon program support by safely escorting and supervising children throughout the Riverdale Y facility. This role is essential in ensuring smooth transitions between classes and maintaining a safe, positive environment for children ages 2-14. This position reports to the Director of Youth & Family Services and will have direct interaction with the following directors: ECC, Performing Arts, Aquatics and Camp.

Work Environment:
This position involves frequent movement throughout the facility and interaction with children in a fast-paced, active setting. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the day.

Compensation: $17/hr
