Principal Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Milton & Betty Katz JCC the Nutrition Supervisor is responsible for operating an efficient, enjoyable and safe nutrition site location to include proper food handling and sanitation, coordination of volunteers, care of the site's facilities during program hours, and coordination of all site activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Day to Day running of the nutrition site:

- Ordering Meals, completing food checklist daily

- Ordering supplies weekly

- Organizing volunteers to help with serving food.

- Keeps records and reports concerning meal distribution

- Oversee non meal operations, including site transportation, coordinates and provides at least 1 non-meal activity a day and completes a monthly schedule of activities.

- Interacts with and maintains all federal state and local policies.

- Ensure that the nutrition site complies with all applicable licensing laws and ordinances relating to food service operations, including Chapter XII of the State Sanitary Code.

- Provide a variety of recreational, informational, and/or healthy-related programs and activities

- Bank Deposits: The Site Manager is responsible to deposit client contributions into the County maintained bank account

The Site Manager is required to be on the job site any and all days that meals are being served. Required hours to be worked are 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday, all Federal Holidays off.


Applicants MUST have at least (2) years' experience working with the aged, (1) year experience in food service (handling for large groups), and experience with working with volunteers and must be Covid-19 Vaccinated.

Full Time position. $14/Hr. Benefits included.
