Principal Responsibilities:
Pay Rate: $65,000-$72,000 Annually
Overview of the Role:
The PJCC seeks a Development Operations Associate who will contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Development Team and meaningfully contribute to the achievement of annual fundraising goals. The Associate will hold primary responsibility for maintaining the fundraising database, and will support donor stewardship and relationship management, events, and department initiatives. This individual will be a team player and proactive problem-solver who will approach donor interactions with professionalism and respect for confidentiality. A successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and technology proficiency, while also being a relationship builder who understands the critical connection between operational work and successful achievement of the organization's mission.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively across the department to review existing processes and procedures, and to develop and implement additional processes that will lead to successful achievement of fundraising results.
- Manage CRM database (Salesforce - NPSP, Non-Profit Success Pack) to ensure data integrity and ensure that all aspects of donor giving are accurately recorded and reported, and that data are collected and organized to be efficiently utilized by the Development Team.
- Maintain and update documentation, including donor communications, in Salesforce for all donor/prospect segments (Individuals, Foundations, Government, Corporations)
- Oversee protocols for gift processing and timely donor acknowledgement.
- Develop regular reporting and dashboards to highlight fundraising progress and track key performance indicators and campaign metrics.
- Support the Development Team's effective use of CRM for donor relationship management and stewardship., prepare donor profiles for staff and lay solicitors, and assist with donor follow up.
- Conduct donor and prospect research and prepare reports using resources such as DonorSearch, internet search, social media, and other nontraditional platforms.
- Review criteria, prepare lists, and track results for appeals, campaigns, events, and print or electronic mailings.
- Manage integrated systems, including donation processing and corporate match platforms, as well as prospect tools and additional subscriptions.
- Track grants in the fundraising database and maintain calendar of grant reporting.
- Collaborate with Finance & Accounting to prepare documents for annual audit and other development reports.
- Assist with logistics and implementation of fundraising and stewardship events.
- Support committee management and logistics.
- Additional administrative and operational support as needed, including for the Chief Development Officer and Development Team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in development or operations, including database support.
- Experience with prospect research and management is a plus.
- Adept at working with technology systems and CRM management; familiarity with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack is a plus.
- Accurate and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and present data analysis.
- High sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Desire to take initiative to raise the level of performance of the department.

- Interest in joining a collaborative team in a community-oriented environment.
- Work on occasional evenings and weekend days will be required.
Salary:
$65,000-$72,000
