Center Specialist (Desk Staff) -
Need a part-time job that will work with your school schedule? Applications are now being accepted for "Center Specialist" positions at the Front and Fitness Desk for the Fall/ 2021 School Year. Qualified candidates must be friendly, outgoing, and energetic individuals who can provide the highest level of service to our members and guests. If you are a "people-person" and would enjoy working with the public on a day-to-day basis, we would like to meet you. As a Customer Service Representative of the Jewish Community Center, you have the opportunity to make a great first impression on first-time visitors and potential members. Simultaneously you will expand our relationship with current JCC members.
Weekend Shifts: 7:45 AM-1 PM or 1:00-7:00 PM - Training to begin Early August, shifts to start August 15th.
Evening Shifts: Monday- Thursday 2 PM-8 PM, or 4PM-9PM- Training to begin Early August, shifts to start August 18th.
Early Morning Shifts: 5:15AM-10 AM or Noon (shift times subject to change) Monday- Thursday. Training to begin late August, shifts to start September, 1st.
Some evening and weekend work is required. Mandatory staff meeting will take place once a month on a Sunday evening.
Hours & Compensation:
This is a part-time position. $10/HR, with potential for a small raise after 1 month of employment. Additional shift differential of $1/hour for early morning provided (all hours prior to 10 AM paid $11/hr). You will also receive an Individual Membership to the JCC and program discounts included with employment.
