Principal Responsibilities:

JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ is seeking a part-time Member Services Administrator to support all aspects of member services. Reporting to the Member Concierge, the Administrator is responsible for resolving member services inquiries promptly while at the same time providing exceptional customer service. This role requires an exceptionally organized, professional, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works effectively with minimal supervision, and demonstrates extreme attention to detail.

All staff are expected to comply with the JCC Internal Service Standards of Respect, Kindness, Teamwork and Communication.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Organize and manage files, records, and documentation--both digital and physical

- Greet and welcome new fitness center members and assist with membership enrollment

- Track deadlines, follow up on action items, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time

- Respond to members' concerns, suggestions, and complaints in a timely, professional and consistent manner

- Contact all members with credit card rejections monthly basis

- Assist members who request a membership status change ensuring all processes are accurately recorded

- Assist all members who wish to put their membership on freeze ensuring all processes are carried out accurately

- Other duties as may be assigned

COMPENSATION: $18 - $22 per hour

SCHEDULE: Preferably 9am to 1pm either Sunday - Thursday or Monday - Friday

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other software programs

- Professionalism: polished appearance and phone manner

- Flexibility: able to work evenings, weekends and holidays

- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
