Lead Administrative Security Officer

Principal Responsibilities:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The
primary function of the Lead Administrative Security Officer is to work
as the permanent weekend Lead Security Officer, focusing on the
administration of the Security Operation for the JCCSF and managing
building emergencies as they arise. Secondarily, will perform the duties
of Lead Security Officer, responsible for providing guidance and
direction to security personnel as well as ensuring compliance with the
Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) security policies and
procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will
be required to be the Incident Commander/Emergency Response Chief for
any emergencies on the weekends and if needed will during the weekdays
respond as a Security Lead, manage security response to emergencies,
using the Incident Command System
- Organize the daily Security Response Plan and weekly security staff schedule
- Assisting the Security Operations Manager to find shift coverage when needed
- Coordinate safety and security training, drills, and evaluations for the JCCSF staff and departments
- Update Emergency Response Plan for all departments, Security Consultation Policy and Post Orders
- Manage Access Card program, Key and Badge requests for all three preschools and HYC
- Allocate all equipment for Security, and Emergency Response Team
- Track certifications expiration for Security Operations, and update ERT roster and rolls
- Will
be required to keep accurate records of all security related inventory,
I.E., emergency supplies, medical supplies, uniforms, Etc.
- Perform other security related duties as assigned by Security Operation Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must work weekends as the Lead Security Officer on duty
- Military/law
enforcement work experience with at least two years in a leadership
capacity; or five years of security operations experience with at least
three years in a management capacity
- Proven ability to organize and plan projects, and training material
- Must have basic computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to adapt, process information quickly and make sound decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must provide current Guard Card
- Must pass a Background Check
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be physically able to respond quickly to an emergency
- Must be able to physically perform CPR and give emergency medical care
- Must be able to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs.
STATUS:

HOURS
- Full-time
- 36 hours per week
SCHEDULE:
- Saturdays and Sundays required, other days TBD
- Must be available to respond to emergencies on an as-needed basis

Salary:
$28.50 per hour
