Principal Responsibilities:

JCC Greater Boston is seeking a part-time Adaptive Aquatics Administrator to oversee all administrative aspects of our dynamic, well-respected Adaptive Aquatics Program. This individual will deliver excellent customer service and timely communication with members, swim lesson participants, and team members. He/she/they will implement and maintain systems and tracking support for the program infrastructure.

This part-time position will pay $20/hour. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the hours the employee will work, the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities of Aquatics Administrator

• Oversee phone calls and emails pertaining to the adaptive swim program
• Support Instructors and families during swim lessons
• Coordinate and manage lessons schedule
• Assist with program registration and billing
• Assist with program outreach
• Provide administrative support to the department leadership team
• Manage program-related supplies and inventories
• Support JCC Greater Boston's mission, values, and strategic goals
• Participate in all staff meetings and contribute to overall organizational success

Qualifications for Aquatics Administrator

• Has a High School degree or equivalent experience
• Has computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Has excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Is able to work with multiple departments

Essential Functions for Aquatics Administrator

• Is able to see, hear, and cognitively recognize situations requiring lifeguarding services
• Is able to work in a high temperature and high humidity environment for extended periods while wearing required personal protective equipment
• Is able to stand, sit or lay on the pool deck and move their body in a way similar to how the participants in the water should (demonstrating)
• Is able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Is able to make safety-related decisions
• Is able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Is able to read routine and technical documents, use a computer, and answer a telephone (vision requirements)
• Is able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, and kneel frequently
• Is able to communicate with community members and coworkers effectively in person, over email, and on the phone
