POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Director of Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is a full time, salaried exempt position, responsible for developing and implementing the mission of the program.This includes fostering key relationships, serving as an educational resource, coordinating programs to address and educate about antisemitism and Jew hatred, and ensure we are monitoring, tracking, and reporting incidents in our local community.
Program Director level positions at Jewish for Good are members of the Professional Staff and are the face of their program area, overseeing the operations of that area.
This position reports to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster Government and Community Relations (40%)
Serve as Educational Resource (30%)
Coordinate Programs (20%)
Work in partnership with other local Jewish and secular organizations to develop and organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for various constituent groups (schools, civic leaders, etc) to proactively address, raise awareness of, and equip individuals with strategies to address antisemitism and Jew hatred
Oversee JCRC Operations (10%)
