Principal Responsibilities:

Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh is seeking team player to assist with our Sports & Recreation programs. The Sports & Recreation Programs Specialist act as the first point of contact for our guests/participants. They will respond to questions about our programs, and facilitate ongoing programs. They will assist the Sports & Recreation Manager as well as the Community Center staff in the overall management and operation of, including but not limited to, sports and recreation programs, light facility maintenance, as well as programming facilitation. This position is mainly evening and weekend hours, with some daytime hours and will be 12-30 hours per week based on programming schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience working in a customer service or recreation setting is necessary
Assist in facilitating athletic/sports leagues
Provide outstanding customer service when assisting the public through in person contact
Assist with preschool sports programming at local preschools and at the JCC
Promote the JCC and all of its programs
Open and/or close access to campus as needed
Monitor and maintain restrooms and public area trash receptacles as needed
Requires the ability to actively move around and be able to lift at least 30 lbs
Must enjoy working outdoors; in all types of weather conditions
