Principal Responsibilities:

Job Title: Bus Driver

Reports To: Camping and Children and Family Program Director

Department: Afterschool

Status: Non-exempt/Part-time

Location: Miami Beach

Salary Range: 14-16/hour

Experience: 1-2 years with CDL with Class A, B or C status and P- Passenger

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a proper Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class A, B or C status and P-Passenger
• Demonstrate the ability to physically capable of operating a vehicle
• Fill-up gas with company card
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness inside and outside of the bus
• Assist bus attendant with onboarding and offboarding of children
• Verify operating parts are functioning (warning lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, gauge, horn, brakes, emergency door etc.,)
• Maintain order and discipline on the bus
• Contact direct supervisor of unusual situations
• Ensure students are aware of rules and responsibilities as passengers
• Childcare experience a HUGE plus

Salary:

$25,000 - $35,000
