Do you love working with children? The Early Childhood Center is looking for one more preschool teacher in our 3/4s program and one more toddler teacher in our 2/3s program for the 2023-2024 school year (August 28, 2023-May 31, 2024). Our program is accredited through NAEYC, which means a higher quality program including; smaller class sizes, higher wages, more paid time off, paid planning time and prep time, paid professional development, and a NAEYC membership.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with parents and co-workers
• Engage with each child at their level
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Work with lead teacher to create a safe, nurturing, inviting classroom for all children.

Requirements

• Understands developmentally appropriate practice
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication skills
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Certification in child CPR and first aide
• Available Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
